The Arisaka 300 Series Light Body is designed as a streamlined replacement body for SureFire® ScoutLightM300 weapon lights. The 300 Series Light Body is manufacturedwithout the mounting interface for the stock Picatinny clamp. Thisgreatly increases the clearance for front sights when used incombination with the Arisaka Inline ScoutMount on handguards with 45degree mounting surfaces adjacent to the top Picatinny rail.
The 300 Series Light Body is compatible with all E1 series and Scout LightM300 series tailcaps and heads like the KM1A, KE1A, and KX1A. It will also fit in any aftermarket Scoutmount, as it retains the mounting holes and square lug interface on the underside of the light body.
It is also possible to build a complete light from scratch bysourcing additional components. A variety of tail caps and aftermarketlight heads are available from online retailers. Our favorite light headto pair with the 300 Series Light Body is the Malkoff E1/Scout, whichoffers higher lumen output and greater spill over the stock M300B, asmaller overall size, and is made in the USA.

The light body is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and type III hard coat anodized. High quality Buna-N O-rings are included. Product does not include light head or tail cap.
Refinishing warning: If you Cerakote a 300 Series Light Bodythe threaded ends must be masked off. If you Cerakote over the ends thebody will no longer be able to conduct electricity and the light willnot turn on.
