The KAK Carbine 9mm Buffer is weighted at 5.4oz which is a commonly used weight to temper the cycling of blow-back style pistol caliber (9mm / 45 ACP) AR-15 builds. It can also be used to reduce recoil in other Direct Impingement (DI) systems which may be over gassed.
