The M&P15-22 is a dedicated M&P15-format rifle designed and built as a true.22 LR semi-auto from the ground up, with all the standard operatingfeatures and accessory specifications of a modern-version centerfire M&P15rifle. This model features a threaded barrel with A1-style compensator (1/2x 28″ thread), a two-position receiver-mounted safety lever, a functioningcharging handle, a recessed magazine release, and a bolt catch. Otherfeatures include a 6-position collapsible CAR stock, a polymer quad railhandguard, an ambidextrous load-assist button, and a polymer upper andlower receiver with integral steel inserts. The front sight is anadjustable A2 post, while the rear sight is an adjustable dual aperture.
